Good Gaming Computer Top Pick: Is Alienware Really the Best?

Alienware computers have had legacy of power and providing the ultimate gaming experience. Alienware’s newest gaming desktop, the Alienware Area-51 ALX, provides the latest breakthrough in desktop gaming. Infact, Alienware claims it to be the most power desktop on the planet. With its overclocked processors, extreme gaming graphics cards from either Nivida or ATI, and massive amounts of high speed DDR3 Ram, you can easily plow through today’s (and tomorrow’s) toughest games.

The Alienware Area-51 ALX Desktop also has a new and improved design to increase airflow and keep its pieces cooled on the inside. With NVIDIA SLI graphics and Microsoft DirectX technology, this gaming computer will allow you an experience like you’ve never known before.

2010 Alienware Area-51 ALX Desktop Specs:
• Intel® Core™ i7 980x Extreme (3.33GHz, 12MB Cache)
• Dual 2GB GDDR5 ATI Radeon™ HD 5970 CrossfireX™ Enabled
• 12GB DDR3 1600MHz (3x 4GB) Tri Channel Memory
• 2TB RAID 0 (2x 1TB SATA-II, 7,200 RPM, 32MB Cache HDDs)
• Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium
• Dual Drives: Blu-ray Disc (BD) Burner (Writes to DVD/CD/BD) and DVD-ROM

As you can see, with these specs this is no ordinary gaming computer. It’s a super gaming computer. However it comes at a price. An Alienware Area-51 ALX caming computer configured with these settings can easily cost you over $7500! It’s a pretty hefty chunk of change compared to the budget that most gamers have.

So…. we did some researching. Our solution: CyberPowerPC. CyberPower allows you to fully customize your desktop or laptop. Not only are you allowed to fully customize every component in your pc, it comes for an amazingly low price. You can get everything mentioned above in the Alienware computer for 1/2 to 1/3 the price. Computer build time and service is also quite fast. You can see what we mean. Visit CyberPowerPC.com and customize a desktop to your desired specs. Then visit Alienware and customize a desktop to the same specs. You will note that CyberPower clearly wins in terms of price.

Yes. I agree that Alienware is good, but charges way too much. I love cyberpowerpc. I just got a new desktop from them for under 2400 and it has all the latest greatest parts in it.

Cyber junk I would call them . I bought 2 pc’s in the last 3 months and both had to go back!! I finally decided on ironsidecomputers.com, They were a little cheaper and the pc worked right out of the box..
